My Magnifying Mirror Is Essential |

It's easy to take things for granted until we have to do without them. And one of those things, to me, is a magnifying mirror. I have many grooming tools, but the one that I just can't live without is a magnifying mirror. It's such a critical product to have in the bathroom but, time after time, I find that my friends and loved ones rarely have this essential grooming item. It always surprises me because I couldn’t imagine getting ready without one. This mirror is so important to me for a few reasons. First of all, we don’t see ourselves quite as well as we think we do. I've had too many occasions when I failed to use a magnifying mirror - and was very disappointed when I finally got a decent look at myself. My regular bathroom mirror just didn’t give me enough magnification to see things properly. When it comes to applying makeup, a magnifying mirror is an absolute must-have. Eyeliner application is an art in itself and it’s very easy to make some hideous mistakes when working from far away. Once I began using a magnifying mirror, the process of putting on makeup became so much easier and the results were consistently outstanding. I also like using my mirror to take care of unsightly eyebrow growth that's gone a little out of control. It’s so easy to miss the little details when you don’t use a magnifying mirror. Now I can catch those stray hairs each and every time. I like to get these things under control before stepping into the office bathroom - you know the one with the glaring, unforgiving florescent lighting. All of the little details like uneven makeup, stray eyebrow growth and misapplied eyeliner are instantly put under the spotlight in this kind of lighting. I prefer to see all these details in my magnifying mirror before getting shocked in a public bathroom. Magnifying mirrors come in many shapes and forms. Some are accompanied by a handful of lights on either side of the mirror. The lighted mirror is my personal favorite because I get to see everything in a bright light. I don't have to worry about mismatching makeup or botching eyeliner applications when using it. My husband is a different story - he likes a simple, round magnifying mirror for quick grooming fixes. His is attached right to the wall and it extends on a retractable arm. It's a very convenient item for someone who consistently loses things. He never has to search around for his mirror. You might prefer a product that goes right into the shower with you. This type of magnifying mirror is very durable and usually fog-free. You'll find many options and styles of magnifying mirrors available. There's one to suit any need or decor.
